With everyone eagerly anticipating who Joe Calzaghe will face next, another highly intriging prospect is waiting to kick start.
The super-middleweight division will be blown wide open if Joe a) relenquishes the belts or b) retires after his next fight.
There are some decent fighters in the super middleweight division and there are a number of middleweights who are thought to be joining the mix in the near future.
So as we are about to be celebrating the end of another great fighters' career in Joe Calzaghe, who will take his place as the number one supper middleweight?
Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler, Dennis Inkin, Lucian Bute, Anthony Mundine, Jermian Taylor, Edison Miranda, Jeff Lacy, Kelly Pavlik?
What do you think?

I think its gotta be kessler to take his place but who knows as he should have fought Miranda from the Light Middle weight division up heavy (excluding LH) all the divisions are poor. Hopefully we will see Froch v Kessler or Lacy vs Taylor and try and breathe some life in the division.

Jermain Taylor is a classy fighter. I thought he had the beating of Pavlik in both bouts, with a bit more ring savvy.
I still think Kessler is too one dimensional. I'd fancy Taylor to figure the guy out
