So with this just a few days away, who does everyone think will win these bouts and how?
Also if both fights go the way they should Ricky and Paulie are to get it on later in the year in the States. How does everyone think Hatton will deal with the smack-talking slick boxer with a low KO%?
Is anyone planning to attend the event? Please let us know.

I have been offered tickets to this but I am not going, I think the pressure is on Hatton reckon he will do Lazcano though inside 5 or 6. Paulie will win then I think the fight betwwen them to is all but set to be at the garden, I fancy Hattons power to come through again here in 8 I think. However I do have this underlying feeling that Hatton may not be able to comeback after PBF and will not impress anyone in this fight. We shall see though

How come you turned down the tickets then? Hatton should win this, I'll be dissappointed if he doesn't. As for the Malignaggi fight well the good thing is Paulie's power isn't very big but he did last the distance with Cotto, so he can sure take shots. If he takes Hatton the distance and fights his own fight he could sneak a decision. I'm hopefully Ricky can bully him though and make it his fight! Stop him if possible but could be a big ask if even Cotto couldn't stop him.

Well turned down the tickets because the guy was after 80 quid a pop and he had two could not afford it this time just going the local instead. If Hattons wins both against Lazcano and Paulie, there cannot be too much left for him at LW no huge name fights anyway he will have to go looking again maybe PBF again or Cotto or even if Pacman fancied the move up

80 quid is rather steep mate, especially since Lazcano is not a very big name.
And after this and the Malignaggi, providing he wins he will probably go for the Floyd fight again, but at Wembley and getting over 100,000 fans there. It seems Hatton has become obsessed with his large following and he just wants to break records. He might even fight De La Hoya at Wembley for both their last fights. Imagine the numbers. De La Hoya is the biggest ppv guy in the USA and Hatton the biggest in UK. And it will get over 100,000 at the event. It would be a huge huge success financially, they will be loaded.
I don't see Hatton beating Mayweather and he would do very VERY well to beat De La Hoya who, imo, will just be too big and strong for him.
A fight with Paquiao would be a good spectacle, or even Amir Khan if he moves up (and away from Frank Warren) anytime soon!!

I worry for Hatton. Think he is maybe thinking too much about his fans, and not enough about himself.
De la Hoya could seriously hurt the guy, but I can see Hatton doing it, just to say he has got a 100k audience. Bad move.
Is he turning into the modern day Aturo Gatti? As in taking fan pleasing bouts, ahead of what's good for his career?
